Naija Ratels Coach Anya Ugochi has insisted that the ‘One Day At A Time’ Ladies will bounce back after their disappointing 4-0 defeat in the hands of Bayelsa Queens.
The Abuja based team, playing in their first major tournament since founded in 2019 lost heavily to the ‘Prosperity’ girls, a game they had alot of expectations from.
However, Ugochi told www.thenwfl.com that her side will bounce back and do better in their subsequent matches.
“It was indeed a disappointing game. We thought we could do better, but football is all about winning, drawing or losing. .
“We aren’t happy about the result, but at the same time I am proud of my players, because I know they can do better. It’s our first major competition and we would learn and hopefully get a much better result on Thursday.
Naija Ratels will face Rivers Angels on Thursday at the University of Benin Football Pitch by 12pm.
