NWFL Super 6: ‘We Are Rivers Angels, We Won’t Relent’ – Deborah Abiodun

Rivers Angels Captain and Midfielder Deborah Abiodun has raised the hopes of her side after playing out a goalless draw against Delta Queens on Tuesday evening.

The Porthacourt based side lost narrowly to Bayelsa Queens on Matchday one, with another disappointing result on tuesday, Abiodun told www.thenwfl.com that they are more focused and determined to turn around their misfortunes in their first two games.

“We were so determined to get the maximum point out of this game. We have our all, but want enough. These kind of games are always very difficult, playing against a team that knows you very well.

“Although we has more goalscoring chances, but unfortunately, we could not take most of them; we are Rivers Angels, we are known to be Champions and won’t relent or feel bad. We won’t give up, because we still have the chance to emerge Champions again.

“All we just have to do is stick together and make sure we look forward and be easy for Thursday game against Naija Ratels.”
