NWFL Super 6: ‘We Worked Hard For It’ – Nasarawa Amazons Coach Hails Players After Important Victory.

Nasarawa Amazons Head Coach Christopher Danjuma was ecstatic for his players after they secured a hard fought victory over Edo Queens.

The experienced Manager told www.thenwfl.com how hard his side worked in their important win against the ‘Obaseki’ Ladies.

The ‘Solid’ Babes beat their opponent 1-0 at the University of Benin, Football Pitch on Tuesday, with their Topscorer Dooshima Tarnum converting from the spot after Goalkeeper Nkiruka Obindinma had hacked down Mercy Idoko in her penalty area.

Speaking after the game, Danjuma, rated his team high and hailed them for their resilience all through the game.

“It wasn’t an easy game. Our opponents came all out for us. We worked very hard, started well and sometimes missed good chances to double our lead.

‘It was an important win and getting it set us on for our next games. We keep working hard to get better results.’ He noted.

Nasarawa Amazons will face Delta Queens on Thursday at the University of Benin Football Pitch, by 10am.
