Three solid derbies hapeened during the midweek, with Match-of-the-Week clash between Rivers Angels and title holders Delta Queens, ending in favour of the hosts in Port Harcourt.

South-East derby saw Heartland Queens easing past Abia Angels at Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri, while Robo Queens leaving it late to silence Ekiti Queens in a South-West derby at Onikan Stadium.

1. Rivers Angels vs. Delta Queens: South-South Derby Drama

In a highly anticipated South-South derby clash held in Port Harcourt, Rivers Angels secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Delta Queens.

Chiamaka Okwuchukwu emerged as the hero for the Jewels of Rivers, converting a crucial penalty in the 75th minute to seal the win.

Other notable matches included Confluence Queens’ goalless draw with bottom side Royal Queens, and Adamawa Queens’ 2-0 victory against Naija Ratels FC, moving them up to the fourth position.

Additionally, FC Robo Queens secured a 2-0 victory over debutant Ekiti Queens in Lagos through Folashade Ijamilusi brace, condemning the visitors to the bottom of the table.
