The standout fixture of the round is the South-South derby between Bayelsa Queens and Rivers Angels, one of nine matches scheduled nationwide. A South-West derby between Sunshine Queens and Remo Stars Ladies in Akure also adds to the midweek intrigue.

Heartland Queens vs Ibom Angels – Owerri
Heartland Queens will look to capitalise on Ibom Angels’ struggles when both sides meet this Wednesday.
The hosts claimed their only win on Matchday One and have since recorded one loss and two consecutive draws. Ibom Angels, meanwhile, arrive on the back of three straight defeats, having opened their season with a win and a draw.
Pacesetter Queens vs Ekiti Queens – Ibadan
History will be made in Ibadan as Pacesetter Queens face Ekiti Queens for the first time in NWFL Premiership history.
The hosts remain winless after five matches but gained confidence from a goalless draw against Heartland Queens last week. Ekiti Queens, on the other hand, ended their own winless run with a 1–0 victory over Naija Ratels FC and will be aiming to build momentum.

Dannaz Ladies vs Confluence Queens – Lagos
Dannaz Ladies and Confluence Queens meet for the third consecutive season, with both sides desperate for points.
The Cedars have gone four matches without a win since their opening-day victory, while Confluence Queens have suffered four straight defeats following a Matchday One draw. Dannaz Ladies hold a slight edge in the head-to-head, with two wins from the last four meetings.
Nasarawa Amazons vs Osun Babes – Lafia
Unbeaten Nasarawa Amazons welcome Osun Babes to Lafia in what promises to be a closely contested encounter.
