Akinwande Sets For NWFL Premiership Straight League Campaign With FC Robo

FC Robo Queens defender, Habibat Akinwande has admitted that the ‘Lagos Landladies’ has all what it takes to do when in the 2021 NWFL Premiership season, which is going to be a lengthy one.

The former Obilic FC of Serbia player admitted to that being a FC Robo Queens player is all the motivation she and her teammates needs to excel in the upcoming straight league format.

The 23 year old reunited with her former manager, Osahon Emmanuel after enjoying a short spell with Osun Babes and figured out that FC Robo Queens will be perfect in form once the season begins.

Playing in a straight league could be tasking, but I believe we have to take each games one at a time.

I am glad that the leadership of the NWFL and the club owners agreed to play a straight league next season.

Though we haven’t started training because of the effect of the deadly Corona virus pandemic, but we left the camp with a very strong mentality and belief that we can achieve something great anytime the league kicks off.

Our aim, our dream is to do well in the league and probably qualify to play in the maiden edition of the CAF Women Champions league. That would be a tall dream and one is feasible for us at FC Robo Queens.” She concluded.
