“As usual, we’ll go out to do our best and win the game, because getting the maximum point is very key to our chances of playing in the Super 6.”

FC Robo Queens Head Coach Osahon Emmanuel Orobosa spoke to www.thenwfl.com ahead of their opening day match against Abia Angels in Lagos and thinks the league will be very competitive and tight this year.

The ‘Lagos Landladies’ finished in third position last season and would be looking forward to doing better this year, starting with the game against the ‘Angels From The East'”.

“Abia Angels play very good football and they’ve got alot of defensive qualities, judging by their results in the last three campaigns.

“We are playing in a very difficult group which comprises of teams like defending Champion, Rivers Angels, Bayelsa Queens, Delta Queens and Sunshine Queens. The coming games after our first game are very important, the league will be wide open and very tough from day one to the last day”

“The squad has been ready and prepared for a while. Everyone is ready and we must also give kudos to the league management for starting the league in time.” He concluded.
