Head Coach of NWFL Premiership side, Nasarawa Amazons, Christopher Danjuma has told www.thenwfl.com that there is more to come from his side as the NWFL Premiership is set restart.
“Our hopes and aspirations still remains the same, we are optimistic and feel the win against Delta Queens was key to our rejuvenation”
The ‘Solid Babes’ started their 2021 Premiership campaign on a poor note, losing their first three games before recording an important victory over visiting Delta Queens on matchday 4.
Danjuma, whose side will travel to Benin when the league restarts stated that the break given by the NWFL board for players and officials of all Premiership clubs to undergo compulsory COVID-19 test has helped his side restrategise and strengthen themselves ahead of the task ahead.
“We have since gotten over the poor start and ready to start afresh when the league resumes, starting with the game in Benin.
“Our hopes and aspirations still remains the same, we are optimistic and feel the win against Delta Queens was key to our rejuvenation.
“No doubt, the short break has given us more time to reflect on our strength and weaknesses and we are ready to take advantage of it.” He concluded.
