This is the new brand name of the Nigeria Women’s Pro League – NWPL. You will notice that it has the same acronym as the old Premier league too, hence another important reason for the re-name. Teams will be promoted from the NWFL CHAMPIONSHIP to the NWFL PREMIERSHIP and vice versa.
