Edo Queens are on top of the log in Group A and have a good away record this season, getting maximum points in Gombe against Adamawa Queens and a point in Lokoja against Confluence Queens. With this, they will be confident that they can get maximum points at the U.J Usuene Stadium on Wednesday.

Pelican Stars, surely will give a good fight In front of their fans and the ‘Betsy Obaseki Ladies’ might have it difficult if they are complacent.

NWFL Premiership: Adunola Confident But Wary Of FC Robo Queens Quality

Osun Babes interim Coach Olayinka Adunola has tipped FC Robo Queens to be one of the surprise package of this season’s NWFL Premiership.

The young coach takes her side to the National Stadium on wednesday evening hoping to continue with another favourable result in Lagos.

Both teams won their opening fixtures away from home, however, she knows that getting a victory in Lagos could be intensely difficult against a side that has a great game base and hardly loses at home.

The ‘Lagos Landladies’ won Nasarawa Amazons in far away Lafia and Adunola is surely wary of what they could face when they meet on Wednesday.

” The game between FC Robo and Osun Babes is always a difficult one. They have good players and play quick attacking football, compressing from the back.

” We are confident ahead of the game but we are aware that we are playing against a very strong side, who usually take their chances.

” I expect a great environment in Lagos and hopefully, my players will come up to play to that level. I have no doubt in my players abilities and am positive ahead of the derby.
