NWFL Premiership: We Need To Improve Quickly – Ibom Angels Manager

Ibom Angels Manager Moruf Adeyemo has told www.thenwfl.com that his team were short of fitness in their matchday one defeat to Osun Babes in Uyo.

The ‘Orange Ladies’ only resumed in middle of November and that is in stark contrast to an Osun Babes side who played series of warm up games before their clash last week.

Looking ahead of their next game against Pelican Stars in Calabar, the former Sunshine Queens Manager noted that his players will need to improve quickly if they are to pick a favourable result in Calabar.

” We didn’t do so well against Osun Babes because my players haven’t gotten to the level of fitness they ought to have attained. It wasn’t surprising to me, but I never thought we could lose the game.

” We don’t have much time to get ourselves back on track. We have to quickly get back in-form and start winning games. It is important for us now as we face a Pelican Stars side who also lost their opening day fixture to Abia Angels in Umuahia.

“We have been training hard and expect a difficult game against our neighbours. We hope to give in our best and make our fans happy again. He concluded.
