There Is Plenty Of Positives Around The Squad- Osun Babes Defender, Iloduba

.

“There is plenty to be positive about, when you look at the squad. We have a young side and a determined team too,” She told www.thenwfl.com

Osun Babes defender Sarah Iloduba believes the ‘Omoluabi Queens’ will do well as the 2022 NWFL Premiership season kicks off on Wednesday.

The Osogbo based side finished 5th in their group last season, missing out of the Super 6 Championship, but Osun Babes ‘cult’ heroine, Sarah Iloduba is optimistic that they can do better this season, starting with the Naija Ratels game in Abuja.

“There is plenty to be positive about, when you look at the squad. We have a young side and a determined team too,” She told www.thenwfl.com

“It is true that we have lost some good players from the last season squad, but we have to hold our heads high. We have come a long way and we aren’t looking back.

When asked about her thoughts on their first league outing against Naija Ratels in Abuja, the ferocious defender was clearly full of confidence.

“Naija Ratels are a very good side and we won’t judge them by the way they played at the Flying Officers Cup. Sometimes, Pre-seasons aren’t a perfect yardstick to judge a team.

“We saw them play in Abuja and feel they play an exciting kind of game, building from the back and that could be difficult for some teams..

“I am clearly positive about a great outing and will urge my teammates to think only about picking a good result in Abuja.” She concluded.

Naija Ratels will welcome Osun Babes on Wednesday, 8th of December, as the 2021/2022 Premiership season kicks off across various centres in the country.
