NWFL Nationwide MD 3 Reviews: Plateau Queens Come Alive as Dreamstar, Rosaria Victrix, Solo Wonders Impress

Plateau Queens secured their first win of the 2025 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Nationwide season with a 2–1 victory over Osklean FC on Matchday Three, played in Abuja.

Goals from Juliet Okoloko and Julie Jude in either half gave the Queens a vital three points, marking a strong comeback following their 4–2 opening-day loss to Dreamstar Ladies.

Ozioma Onyeso scored the only goal for Osklean FC, whose struggles continued with a third consecutive defeat.

Dreamstar Ladies, meanwhile, extended their dominant run in Group A with a convincing 3–0 win over C2E Sports Academy.

A disciplined performance saw the Lagos-based side maintain their perfect start to the campaign with three wins from three matches, further strengthening their position at the top of the group.

In Group B, Rosaria Victrix delivered the most emphatic result of the day, dismantling Sporting Angels 8–0 in a one-sided affair.

Jessica Ibeh and Blessing Onwekwe each found the net twice, while Oluebube Keke, Favour Ohalagu, Priscilla Oforhaihe, and Ifechukwu Christopher also added their names to the scoresheet.

The heavy loss leaves Sporting Angels still without a point or a goal after three matches.

Solo Wonders also made a statement in Group B, earning their first win of the season with a 3–1 triumph over NAF Queens.

Nmesoma Uchendu netted twice and Jessica Obinna added a third to seal the result, preserving Solo Wonders’ unbeaten record following a 1–1 draw against Alexander Queens earlier in the week.

Acheri Godfrey scored the lone goal for NAF Queens, who have now suffered two defeats in three outings.

As the NWFL Nationwide season gathers momentum, early contenders are beginning to emerge, with Dreamstar Ladies and Rosaria Victrix setting the pace in their respective groups.
