DreamStar Ladies and Rangers Women played out a tense goalless draw in a top-of-the-table showdown on Matchday Four of the 2025 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Nationwide, held on Thursday in Abuja.

The highly anticipated clash saw both unbeaten teams cancel each other out in a game dominated by tactical discipline and defensive solidity. DreamStar Ladies came into the fixture with three consecutive wins, while Rangers Women had also maintained a perfect record from their opening two games.

Despite a few half-chances on either side, neither team could break the deadlock after 90 minutes, leaving both clubs tied on points at the summit of Group A.

Elsewhere in Group A, C2E Sports Academy and Plateau Queens played out an entertaining 2–2 draw. Agnes Ohuche opened the scoring for C2E in the 55th minute, but Plateau Queens responded through Juliana Abwo, who netted twice in quick succession (67’ and 71’) to give her side a 2–1 lead. However, Ohuche struck again in the dying moments to salvage a draw for the Abia-based team.

In Group B, Solo Wonders emerged as the only winners on the day, securing a 2–1 victory over Rosaria Victrix. Jessica Obinna was the standout performer, scoring a brace with goals in each half to give the Akwa Ibom side all three points. Priscilla Oforhaihe scored the lone goal for Rosaria Victrix.

Meanwhile, NAF Queens and Alexander Queens also shared the spoils in a thrilling 2–2 encounter. Philippa Nomye netted a brace for NAF Queens, while goals from Mercy Francis and Ogochukwu Ozoani ensured Alexander Queens earned a point.

The results leave both groups finely poised as teams jostle for top spots heading into the business end of the NWFL Nationwide season.
